He learned tailoring by making clothes with his mother and uncles, and studied art history before focusing on fashion, even taking darkroom photography classes at age 11.

Shoes aren’t just accessories; they dictate the entire outfit’s mood (tone/attitude) and how clothes are perceived (le porté), focusing on the unexpected contrast (décalage) between shoe height (heavy boots vs. delicate heels) and clothing proportions, not just length, to create a specific, impactful silhouette and statement.

Sophia Montesinos is a junior at Colonia High School. In her free time, she enjoys playing volleyball for both her school and club team as a defensive specialist. Montesinos is also an avid reader, her favorite genre, or genre she “specializes” in, is romance. Her favorite authors of this genre include Jenny Han, Anna Huang and Hannah Grace. In school, she participates in various activities, including Student Council, SPTS, Patriot Pals, and Class Office. She is the class president for the class of 2027! During the summer, she spends her days down by the shore, specifically Seabright. She also enjoys traveling with her family to places all around the world in the summer, including Spain, Mexico, Canada and many more. After high school, she hopes to attend Penn State University one day for broadcast journalism and live near the beach.
